''How personalised can my piece be?''
Personalising pieces is my favourite part of Button Queen Vintage and I take great pride in trying to make it as meaningful as possible for you. I ask for as much information as possible when taking on a commission so think outside of the box! Favourite beaches, pet's names, childhood memories, jobs, family names etc. Nothing sounds ridiculous and sometimes the ideas you think will amount to nothing turn out the best - that's the beauty of stamps! Most pieces are priced on size but should the intricacy or elemets become rare obviously prices shift. We will discuss this before the piece is made and there are never any hidden costs.
''How long will it take?''
I always aim for 2-3 weeks but more often than not your piece is ready to post within a week. With this in mind, please allow extra time should you need a picture of an island only 5 people have heard of with very specific dimensions, I am human after all!
''What are the postage options?''
Hand delivery or pick up options are available in the South West of England where possible. Please see our 'postage' page for average pricing through the Royal Mail, we use this for most of our pieces. Glazed pieces (those that are framed) can be couriered and cost will be transparent before your piece is started to make sure all parties are happy
''I would like two duplicate pieces...''
Although not impossible we can't make two original pieces identical due to every post mark, stamp & button being different. We are not opposed to the idea of producing prints just for you of a personalised stamp map if it is important that they match. Please get in contact with the subject being "Personalised & Print"
